There are many businesses supplying payday loan in California than you will find McDonalds fast-food chains. Many of them come in low earnings communities and several are clustered around armed forces bases. In 2010 a brand new federal legislation goes into impact to cease these store front side loan providers from billing people of the military over 400-percent interest per year. And Ca lawmakers will endeavour to pass through a bill to place teeth into that legislation. KPBS Reporter Alison St John has more.
